Brendan: When I grow up, if I don’t move to Texas, I’m going to live in Winghaven (a local subdivision) and if I have a large family, we’ll move to Illinois.
Me: Why don’t you just stay in St. Louis, that way I could babysit for you all the time?
Brendan: Come on Mom, Illinois is only 45 minutes away, you can go there.
On September 10th, 2001 Manuel was born in San Salvador, El Salvador. While we are so grateful to have him in our lives, we also remember his birthmother and the difficult choice she had to make. We are so thankful that she stuck with an incredibly long and painful process so that he could come here to be a part of our family.
William has been home just over a year. Can’t imagine life without him.
